We’re in the thick of wedding season at the moment, with photographers working flat out documenting couples’ weddings the world over. In the first of a new, regular series for us, we want to showcase some of our members’ current work – the moments they’ve been capturing (and editing, oh yes, all that editing!) recently.
It’s an absolute delight to see such a variety of different recent moments – and the variety of ways our different members captured them, with each photographer having their own distinct style. A real pleasure to see what our members are witnessing – and capturing! – during their recent weddings.

Brilliant to have Marta May on the site today to tell us about this Reportage Award from Collection Two. Marta has won two awards with us now, over two different collections – no mean feat! It’s so interesting to read her insights into how this image was captured, about the intrinsic benefits of shooting as a duo, and the importance of capturing real moments. This Is How: ‘Two Faces’ by Anna Poole
Honoured to have the great Anna Poole of Luna Weddings with us today, taking us behind the scenes of her recent Reportage Award (Anna actually won two awards in Collection Three; an incredible feat, with only the top 4% of submissions awarded worldwide). Really great insights into getting creative, spotting opportunities, off-camera flash, patience, persistence and more. Anna also shares other images from the series she took, as well as a SOOC file. So interesting; a brilliant read!
10,000 Uses of #thisisreportage Hashtag: Win A Year’s Membership
We were amazed to find out today that, in only seven months since launching the website, we’ve had 10,000 uses of the #thisisreportage hashtag on Instagram!
To celebrate this milestone, we thought we’d run a little contest, with the prizes being 1 of 3 annual memberships to This is Reportage (worth £80 each). As always, we want to be fair to our existing members too (almost 400 of them now, wowsas!), so this contest is open to existing members as well as photographers who aren’t part of our community (existing members will win an extra year’s membership).
