Collection Five Winners Announced
Ah, there’s nothing quite like Awards Announcement Day! We’re absolutely thrilled to be able to announce the winners of Collection Five, superbly curated this time by the amazing Steven Herrschaft, Christelle Rall, Lauren Brimhall, Sam Docker and The Framers.

Once again, it was incredibly tough to get an Award, with just the top 3.6% of submissions becoming a Reportage Award (for great individual captures), and the top 3.5% getting a Story Award (for a series of 15 – 20 images from a single wedding, representing world-class coverage, creativity, consistency and storytelling).
400 Members!
A little milestone for us today as we welcome our 400th member! It’s humbling that in only eight months since launching, so many wonderful photographers from all over the world have joined us, showcasing their brilliant documentary work, and re-enforcing the power and importance of capturing real moments.
Collection Three Announced!
It is with great pleasure that we can announce the winners of Collection Three! Many thanks to our wonderful judges this round – the fantastic Sabina Mladin, Patrick Engel, Rahul Khona, Sanne De Block and Candice C. Cusic – who have been poring over the thousands of entries over the last week to come up with their winners.
As always, the quality of submissions was sky high, and it must have been incredibly hard for our judges to choose their favourites. Receiving an award was thus incredibly difficult, with just the top 4% of submissions receiving a Reportage Award (for the pinnacle of individual captures) or a Reportage Story Award (for a series of 15 – 20 images from a single wedding; as we want to celebrate the art and skill of storytelling, of consistently world-class coverage, as well as individual moments).

It’s a real honour to see This is Reportage featured in the one and only Rangefinder Magazine!
Rangefinder is pretty legendary within the photography industry, and so it’s very exciting that they wanted to talk about us in their worldwide publication. The piece is an interview with TiR’s founder, Alan Law, about how and why this directory and community of brilliant documentary wedding photographers came about.
Collection Two Announced!

It’s a very exciting day today as we announce the results of Collection Two, expertly curated by Ross Harvey, Tyler Wirken, Justine Boulin, Katrin Küllenberg and Pedro Vilela.
We had literally thousands of submissions, and it was incredibly tough to attain an award. Our full transparent judging process can be found over here, but, in a nutshell, an image or Story had to receive a majority vote by our judges to become an award; no mean feat considering the world-class judges who assessed this collection for us!
