This is Ross Harvey – Collection Two Judge
It’s a true honour to announce that the amazing Ross Harvey will be one of our judges for Collection Two! Ross has been one of the most inspiring photographers for me, personally – one of the initial ‘game changers’; someone who really showed me how wedding photography can be so different and a real art form. I’m therefore thrilled and honoured that he’ll be curating our second collection!
This Is How: ‘Cinderella’ by Dan Morris
Excited to have the fantastic Dan Morris on the site today for the twenty-sixth of our regular series of ‘This is How…’ posts. Today, Dan is taking us behind the scenes of his recent Reportage Award, including great insights on capturing elements of the day that the bride and groom may not normally see, patience and observation, supporting images, and his before/after edit. Thanks so much, Dan!
This Is How: ‘Embrace The Awkwardness’ by Antony Turner
The twenty-fifth of our regular series of ‘This is How…’ posts brings us the fantastic Antony Turner, with his insights into this emotional capture of his. Really fantastic insights into trusting your instincts, leaving your comfort zone and ’embracing the awkwardness’…a lot of us, as wedding photographers, can struggle with this notion of being too close, and Antony’s words here about pushing through those fears in order to get such intimate captures as this are brilliant.
This is Tyler Wirken – Collection Two Judge
Such an honour to welcome Tyler Wirken as one of our Collection Two Judges! Based in the US, Tyler is world-renowned as one of the very best documentary wedding photographers in the business; we’re thrilled he’ll be judging for us!
