Collection Two Announced!

It’s a very exciting day today as we announce the results of Collection Two, expertly curated by Ross Harvey, Tyler Wirken, Justine Boulin, Katrin Küllenberg and Pedro Vilela.
We had literally thousands of submissions, and it was incredibly tough to attain an award. Our full transparent judging process can be found over here, but, in a nutshell, an image or Story had to receive a majority vote by our judges to become an award; no mean feat considering the world-class judges who assessed this collection for us!

It is a huge honour to introduce Sabina Mladin as one of our Collection Three judges! Romania-based, and shooting all over the world, I absolutely love Sabina’s work – dynamic, creative and emotive; just brilliant. 300 Members!
A little milestone for us today as we celebrate welcoming our 300th member!

It’s an honour to announce that Patrick Engel will be one of our Collection Three judges! One half of a couple shooting team with his wife Rosa, Patrick is based in Germany and shoots all over the world. I love the life; the humour and joy of weddings that Patrick captures; it’s a real honour to have him casting his eyes over Collection Three.
Ask The Photographers: Are Two Photographers Better Than One?
Something that comes up so much during a search for a wedding photographer is the question about numbers; do you work with a second photographer? Are two really needed? Can you capture groom prep as well as bridal prep if you shoot solo? Can you still be discrete if there are more than one of you? We thought that we’d ask our members – all fantastic documentary wedding photographers themselves – about their thoughts on the subject.
Just like our first ‘Ask The Photographers’ piece we published last week (which was all about how to choose your wedding photographer), what follows is an exhaustive and incredibly interesting opinion-piece, straight from the mouths of wedding photographers themselves (from 30 of our members), this time answering the question “Are two photographers better than one?”
