This is Now

We love to feature the recent work of our TiR members; the moments they’ve been capturing all around the world over the past month or so. It’s so interesting to see all the different ways our photographers capture things; the different elements they see and appreciate – always a real pleasure to feature!

Check back every few weeks for our latest ‘This is Now’ features. Here are the ones so far:

This is Now

Delighted to feature another round up of recent work by some of our This is Reportage photographers: This is Now!

It’s always so great to see what our members have been witnessing – and capturing – at weddings all over the world over the past few weeks, and we thoroughly enjoy sharing these moments with you. This month we’ve seen wayward bouquets, backflipping guests, shy flowergirls, emotional grooms (and brides, and fathers and mothers!), a Mariachi band, late guests, brides travelling by bike (with a dog too!), very careful cake-walking, sneaky drinks, first dances dressed as monkeys (!), and much, much more…

No poses; nothing staged: This is Reportage…and This is Now:

This is Now

It’s the time of the year where wedding season begins for some of us (though not all, as seasons vary from country to country), and so we’re super happy to be bringing you another ‘This is Now’ feature: A round up of natural, unposed images, captured from weddings that have taken place over the past few weeks by some of our TiR photographers.

We love seeing what our members have captured recently; from intense partying action, to emotional speeches, first dances to last dances, and everything in between; it’s a joy to see how differently – and uniquely – each photographer captures each moment.

So, without further ado, here’s some brilliant recent photos from some of our TiR members worldwide – and, as always with us, these are all natural moments; capturing the real essence of both the wedding day, and the people themselves.

This is 2018

Wow, what a year! It’s been an absolute pleasure to see all the amazing moments our This is Reportage photographers have been capturing in 2018; a true honour to be able to showcase and celebrate the real art that is documentary wedding photography. It’s been our inaugural year, too, and we’ve been totally humbled at the reception we’ve received; we’d love to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our over 500 members worldwide; it’s been such a pleasure to work with you all – and getting to meet so many of you in person at our party last week, too!

Another year gone by in a flash; another year of amazing weddings all over the world. We thought it’d be nice to do a little ‘year in review’ kind of post, so we asked our members to send us a few of their favourite moments captured in 2018. What follows is an absolutely *brilliant* selection of images – moment after moment captured by some of the very best wedding photographers in the world.

All of these captures have been chosen by our photographers as some of their own personal favourites – not ‘the’ favourite (how difficult would it be to only choose one single favourite from a whole season?), but definitely up there in their top 5. We all have so many different reasons as to why some captures become our favourites; an exceptionally emotional moment, perhaps, a laugh-out-loud “I can’t believe that just happened!” moment, or perhaps just because there’s something about it which we love. Something that draws us in, brings us back to that moment in time, or simply just makes us smile…

This is Now

Moments, moments, moments….we can’t get enough of them! So, once again, we’re thrilled to share so many of them, as seen and captured by some of our This is Reportage photographers over the past month or so, from weddings all over the world.
We love these ‘recent work’ pieces; it’s fascinating to see all the different things our members have been capturing – from nervous grooms, dramatic confetti-runs, intimate embraces, kids in cardboard-boxes (!) and so much more – but also the different ways in which these moments have been photographed: Every photographer sees things in their own way, having their own unique and distinct style, and we love that. Variety is the spice of life, no?

It’s time for another round-up of some of the things our TiR photographers have been seeing and shooting over the past month or so! We love these pieces; it’s just so fascinating to not only see all the different things being captured, from weddings all over the world – but also how these are being captured, too, with every single photographer having their own different style, their own way of seeing and capturing.
