Collection Twenty Judges
An honour to reveal our judges for Collection Twenty! A massive thanks to these five amazing photographers who will be poring over our thousands of submissions (clockwise, from top-left): Aleks Kus (Slovenia), Shane O’Neill (Ireland), Louise van den Broek (Netherlands), Joe Short (UK) and Ang Waterton (Canada).
There’s only a few days left to submit now: Submit by 23:59 GMT on 24th March 2021. Members receive 60 Reportage Award entries (for the best individual captures), and 18 Story Award entries (for a series of 15 – 20 images of a single wedding) per year, and many more benefits. Aleks Kus, based in Slovenia, was joint-28th in the World on TiR for 2020, with a haul of nine Awards won in the year. You can listen to our interview with Aleks on our Podcast here.
Shane O’Neill was joint-5th in Ireland here on This is Reportage in 2020, with four Reportage Awards. He was also one of the speakers at the inaugural Doc Day (which you should really come to in 2022; can’t wait!).
Louise van den Broek, from the Netherlands, has won numerous awards for her wedding work, and was also ranked joint-6th in the world on our sister-site for documentary family photography, This is Reportage: Family, in 2020. You can listen to our interview with Louise on our Podcast here.
Joe Short, from the UK, is a four-time award winner here at This is Reportage – and, according to his TiR profile, a world record holder for “The Highest Concert in a Hot Air Balloon”, which is just too fab not to mention!
Ang Waterton is an award-winning wedding and family photographer based in Canada. She recently won 3 Family Story Awards in a single round on our sister-site for family photography, and you can hear her on our Podcast here.
