About Weddings by Flashback

Run by Yash Rathi and Adhitya Rao, Flashback began with a simple idea: to photograph weddings honestly, as they unfold. We’re drawn to the quiet glances, the chaos, the tears, the ridiculous dance moves, the relationships and all those fleeting moments that make a wedding truly yours.
Our approach is rooted in documentary storytelling - observing rather than directing, and giving couples the space to be completely themselves. We’ll take the portraits, the family photographs and all the beautiful details too, but our heart lies in everything that happens in between.
We want our photographs to feel less like a record of how your wedding looked, and more like a way of remembering exactly how it felt.
Based in Bangalore, photographing stories across India and wherever love takes us.
