About Russell

I’m Russell, a wedding photographer based in Herefordshire and working across the UK. I’ve been photographing weddings since 2000, with a documentary approach that focuses on the people, atmosphere and genuine moments that make each day individual.

I work on my own, keeping things unobtrusive while still giving direction when it’s useful. Alongside the natural, unscripted photographs, I make time for family groups and couple portraits, so the important photographs are covered without turning the day into a full-day photoshoot.

With a BA (Hons) in Photography and ARPS qualifications, and hundreds of weddings behind me, I bring experience and professionalism to the day while allowing things to unfold naturally.

For me, good wedding photography is about photographs that feel recognisably like the people and the day they came from - not a manufactured version of either.
