About Marissa Joy
Marissa splits her time between the east and west coast, focusing on fine art documentary photography. Her approach to photography is based in her documentary work she focused on during her college career (Boston College grad!) and year abroad in Florence, Italy. With a deep respect for allowing the Wedding Day to unfold naturally, she instinctively creates magic out of moments. It it her goal to deliver a collection of beautiful and artistic photographs to her clients, making sure each part of the day has equal focus and equal creativity.
Marissa adores spending time with her husband, her son, and their rescue Shepherd, Zoe. She is very passionate about animal welfare, and spends a dedicated amount of time photographing shelter animals and helping place them in forever homes.
