We're now in Judging week: Winners of Collection 29 to be announced soon...

Lauren Carroll

Hi there! I'm from beautiful Philadelphia, but I've always been a globe trotter at heart; I have travelled the world ten times over between the ages of twenty-two to thirty-four with rock and roll bands. During this time, I took photos. Lots of photos. Pictures of extraordinary people living in amazing places. I even hosted rooftop photoshoots for models in my home at Venice Beach, California. You know, because why not host photoshoots on rooftops? I'm creative, after all!

I also worked as a backstage coordinator for Aerosmith, Green Day, Shinedown, Jonas Brothers, Whitesnake, Carly Rae Jepsen and many other bands. This gave me opportunities to take behind-the-scenes and performance photos, so my love for photography grew stronger with each passing day. I knew that my heart belonged to this craft, and I wanted to make it my future.

At some point during this crazy adventure, I fell in love with a Donegal man (as you do) and found my new home right here by the gorgeous Irish seaside. Since then, I have started my own business and taking family, wedding, model, and corporate headshots. I'm also pretty delighted to have featured on One Fab Day in their actual wedding section and received Photographer of the Year 2020 at the Northern Ireland Photography Summit.

I am passionate about photography, particularly capturing those special moments for couples and families. What you want is entirely up to you: whether that's your little ones smashing birthday cakes, your special someone laughing with you on your favourite beach, or your children casting magic spells, we can make memories that will last a lifetime.

So what are we waiting for? Let's climb mountains together and take some epic wedding/family photos! I'm looking forward to being a part of your next big adventure!
