Hi, I’m Hester, a photographer documenting the quiet beauty in life. Deeply in love with capturing the stories that often go unnoticed. At home in nature, with an occasional longing for city life. Bookworm, film lover, writer of quiet stories and simple recipes.

The one thing I wish for your wedding photos to do is to transport you back: the stolen glances, the smiles that made your face hurt, the tears of joy. Sure, I’ll capture the beautifully decorated spaces, your stunning outfits, and the obligatory group portraits, so you’ll remember it all.

But most of all, I want your photos to remind you of how it felt. The butterflies in your stomach right before the ceremony, the love you have for each other, and the absolute joy of spending the day surrounded by your loved ones.

As your photographer, I don’t have a preference for what type of wedding you’re going to have: from an elopement to a micro wedding to a big multi-day celebration, in nature or your favourite city. As long as you do exactly what you want and infuse every moment of it with both your personalities. Because there’s no point in having a wedding that isn’t about the two of you.
