I’m Enzo Mainardi, an Italian photographer based in Campania. I have been photographing people and their stories since 1995.
My approach to weddings is simple: I observe more than I direct. I look for real moments, relationships, gestures and everything that happens when people forget about the camera.
I believe a wedding should not be turned into a photo shoot. It should be lived. My job is to be there, discreetly, and build a visual story from what really happens.
Alongside wedding photography, I work on personal documentary projects about people, traditions and everyday life. This experience has deeply influenced the way I photograph weddings: with attention to light, composition and, above all, human moments.
After more than thirty years behind a camera, I still believe the most powerful photographs are often the ones you cannot plan.
