About Djokovic

Two photographers from the same city, born around the same time, with exactly the same first and last name.

Yes, really. There are two of us, both named Djordje Djokovic.

It sounds like something we made up for the brand. We didn't.

Photography was already a big part of both our lives long before we met. We were both photographing weddings, each in our own way, but with a very similar idea of what wedding photography should be.

Real. Honest. Unscripted.

We never wanted to turn a wedding into a photoshoot. We don't want to interrupt moments just to make a photograph, or create something that wasn't really there.

We prefer to watch, anticipate and photograph things as they happen.

That shared approach is what eventually brought us together and became Djokovic & Djordje.

We photograph weddings much like a reportage. Of course, we love a beautiful portrait, but just as often we're looking somewhere else - at nervous hands before the ceremony, a quick glance across the room, parents trying not to cry, friends losing themselves on the dance floor, or something happening quietly in the background that nobody else noticed.

Those are often the photographs that mean the most years later.
