About Adriano
I came to weddings through documentary work, not the other way around.
I'm a documentary photographer with 15 years of experience capturing real life — sacred ceremonies, street reportage, communities across Southern Italy. My training didn't come from online courses or wedding workshops. It came from years of field mentorship with documentary masters who spent decades working the real South Italy — before social media, before presets, before the aesthetics industry took over.
When I began working weddings, I didn't bring a wedding photographer's mindset. I brought a documentary one. No posing. No directing. No "look here and smile." Just presence, timing, and the ability to disappear into a room while everything real happens around me.
That approach became the AWM Method — Listen, Plan, Freedom.
Before your wedding day, I get to know you. Not your colour palette. You — how you communicate, what makes you laugh, what you're nervous about. That listening shapes a logistics plan that removes every source of stress from the day. And on the day itself, you won't feel a photographer. You'll just live it.
The result isn't a collection of posed portraits. It's a document of who you actually are, on one of the most charged days of your life. Something worth looking at in 30 years.
I work exclusively in Southern Italy — Calabria, Basilicata, Puglia, Campania — and I take a maximum of 20 weddings per year. Not as a marketing line. Because that's the only way to do this properly.
This method isn't for everyone. If you want orchestrated images for Instagram, I'm genuinely not your photographer. If you want to actually live your wedding day — and have it documented honestly — let's talk.
