In this exclusive, never-seen-before video, it was so great to talk to the fab Pedro Vilela, going behind each frame in one of his Story Awards. Not only do we learn about how he took each image and what he was thinking, but there’s so much more too – info on his general approach, what he thinks about composition and light, the equipment he uses, how he chooses images for a Story, and so much more.

Dom will be talking us through various images that she has taken – including some of her Reportage Award-winning images – and telling us exactly how she captured each shot.
When Wedding Photographers Shoot Other Wedding Photographers’ Weddings
…and they win Story Awards for them too! Yep, that’s exactly what happened during a single Awards Collection here at This is Reportage: Two different wedding photographers (the fab Yves Schepers and Sanne De Block) shot the weddings of two other wedding photographers (the fab Linda Bouritius and Simon Leclercq – both of whom are also TiR members, and award-winners themselves), and both weddings became Story Awards during Collection 14.
We thought this was a great opportunity to hear from all of them: From Yves and Sanne, as the photographers who won the Story Awards, and from Linda and Simon, as the bride and groom respectively (though not marrying each other!), and as wedding photographers themselves – getting thoughts from all different perspectives…! Here’s what they had to say (with the full Story Awards displayed below too):

We’re going live again! Join us at 3pm BST on Fri 22nd May over on our Facebook page, as we’re joined by the fantastic Sanne De Block for a brand new ‘The Story Behind the Story Award’.
Sanne (who is currently ranked 3rd overall in terms of Lifetime Awards from us, with a quite staggering 27 Awards in total!) will be taking us through one of her Story Awards; telling us how she captured each image. Not only will she divulge great info about this particular Story, but there’ll be insights into her general approach, equipment, editing, and much more too!
