About Thaddeus

Well hello there. I'm TJ and I photograph weddings in Connecticut. Well, to be fair, all over the north east, but Connecticut is home. I grew up in the 80s and 90s, before social media, before everything was documented, posted, and shared. Back when you left the house and did something. You didn’t post it while in the middle of it. You just lived it. I didn’t realize how much that mattered to me until much later, but it probably explains a lot about how I work now. I’m a huge gamer. One could argue i was born with a controller in my hands. I talk with my hands and emotions while bringing a lot of energy into a room, but not the kind that takes over. More like the kind that settles people and makes them laugh. I photograph weddings in a documentary way, but I’ll step in when it helps. Every wedding looks the same on paper, but once people show up, all of that goes out the window. The reactions are different. The dynamics are different. And That’s the part I really love. The humanity of it all. What I care about most is people actually living their day and not being pulled away from moments that matter.
