About Isabelle

After graduating in Photograhic Design at the Art Academy (St. Joost in Breda, The Netherlands) in 2000, I immediately started working as an independent and allround photographer.
This gave me the opportunity and world wide experience of experimenting with endless subjects and assignments.

Capturing people’s connection and sharing their stories, is my greatest passion. Their emotions, their memories, their stories. People always tell me they recognize themselves in my photo's, whether this is beautiful, crazy, intense, silent or expressive: I love each and every emotion in my photography.

I specialized myself in Journalistic Wedding Photography and in 2017 I was awarded the title of Fearless Photographer of the year (the biggest photo competition for wedding photographers). I became a Nikon Europe ambassador in 2021.

During my career I was allowed to follow ánd teach many photography courses. I feel extremely grateful that I got to travel the world to share my passions and stories at international conferences and workshops. It is a great honor to inspire other photographers how to find their inner voice.
