About Richard

Hi - I'm new to 'This is Reportage' and recently landed back in the UK after living in Los Angeles for over 10 years. I started my wedding photography business soon after moving to LA with my wife Clare, in 2013, and never looked back. Most of the 250+ weddings I've photographers were in sunny Southern California but I've also had the privilege of capturing wedding stories all across the US, Asia & Europe. Despite all those adventures, I'm super excited to start shooting weddings here in the UK. I'm less excited about winter and the prospect of significantly fewer golden hours..

Before leaving California last year, I was in the 'Top 3 Fearless Photographers' for the entire state of California, with a lifetime total of 12 awards. I've also won a handful of Junebug Weddings 'Worlds Best of Awards' over the years.

Despite the awards, I am most proud of my client testimonials and the friendships formed with clients over the years. The human interactions and connections made through this job has been an absolute blessing.
