Collection 23 Judges
Excited to announce our judges for Collection 23! Thanks so much to the brilliant (clockwise, from top-left) Huy Che Hoang (Vietnam), Rocio Vega (Spain), Mauro Correia (Portugal), John Steel (UK) and Marieke Zentjens (Netherlands) who will be judging the thousands of images submitted across our Reportage Award and Story Award entries.
There’s just a few days left to submit: Submit by 23:59 BST on 23rd September 2021. Members receive 60 Reportage Award & 18 Story Award entries per year, all included in your membership fee – as well as many more benefits. Join us to submit.
One of the best photographers in Vietnam, Huy Che Hoang has not been a TiR member for long, but has already won six Reportage Awards from us, as well as multiple Fearless Awards.
Rocio Vega, based in Spain, has been in the TiR Top 100 Photographers in the World rankings for the past two years in a row. You can also hear our interview with Rocio on the Podcast over here.
Mauro Correia was ranked 4th in Portugal here on TiR in 2020, and 41st in the world. In total, he’s won a haul of 14 Reportage Awards and a Story Award from us.
With six Reportage Awards to his name, John Steel is one of the UK’s best wedding photographers, with an inimitable style (and he’s nifty on a table tennis table, too…!)
Marieke Zentjens is a brilliant wedding and family photographer from the Netherlands. She was joint 35th in the world on our sister-site for documentary family photography, This is Reportage: Family, in 2020, and has won 7 Reportage Family Awards from us there.
