About Sara

Originally from Australia, my journey has taken me through Germany, Belgium, and the UK. After over a decade of documenting weddings in London in the United Kingdom, I moved to Canada, where we set down roots in Ottawa in 2022 with my husband and three children. Each place has shaped my eye for storytelling and my passion for capturing life’s fleeting moments.

Before that, I studied photography for four years under the Australian artist & curator, Dr. Jay Younger and artist Marian Drew at what was then called the 'Queensland College of Art'. After graduating in 2000, I left the country for Europe and worked under Celina Lunsford at the FFF (Fotografie Forum Frankfurt) in Germany, where I assisted visiting photographers, Abe Frajndlich and Bruce Gilden and installed exhibitions.
