About Laura

I'm Laura the founder of Laura de Kwant Photography. It's been an amazing ride and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities that I've been given along the way as I can’t imagine doing anything else.
My passion for photography came to life on Aruba when I received my first professional camera for my birthday. Camera in hand, YouTube in the background and tons of creative ideas in mind my journey began. I pour my energy into every shoot creating spontaneous images. I would describe my style as: happy, spontaneous, colorful and relaxed. I love to capture the atmosphere of the moment no matter the occasion or destination.

I currently live in Rotterdam and travel to my “One happy Island” of Aruba regularly. This allows me to have the best of both worlds. My love for blue skies and beach on Aruba and the colorful autumn pictures and the green countryside in Holland. But my love for traveling brings me all over the world for my work! I even did shoots in Africa, France, Thailand, Italy and Spain & can't wait to add some to that list!
