About Jaimy

I am Jaimy Leemburg, a documentary wedding photographer based in the Netherlands.

What draws me to weddings is the beautiful chaos of the day. The quiet nerves in the morning, the laughter between friends, and the unexpected moments that no one planned but everyone will remember.

I try to photograph weddings as honestly as possible. I do not direct the day but simply observe it. I look for real connection, small gestures, and the fleeting moments that often pass unnoticed.

My work sits somewhere between documentary photography and those rare epic moments where light, emotion and timing come together.

Outside of photography I am a husband and a father, and someone who is endlessly fascinated by people and their stories. Weddings are a place where all of that comes together. Love, family, chaos, humour and vulnerability. I feel lucky every time I get to document it.
