About Brigitte

Hi, I’m Brigitte – but everyone calls me Britt.
I’m a documentary wedding and family photographer based in the North of the Netherlands. My roots are in Groningen: straightforward, down-to-earth and with a sharp eye for the real story behind the day.
I believe weddings (and families) are not about staged perfection, but about people. Real laughter, small gestures, tears you didn’t expect, and kids stealing the show. That’s where the magic happens – in the moments you didn’t plan.
With every wedding I shoot, I aim to create a story that feels honest, emotional and alive. A story that you can look back on years later and still feel the day.
This year I’ve already won several international awards, but the biggest reward for me is when couples say: “This feels like us.”
When I’m not behind my camera, you’ll probably find me lifting weights in the gym, or enjoying time with my family (preferably with good coffee at hand).
