About Antonio

Hi my name is Antonio Palermo. I was born in 1980 in Salerno (Italy). My story is very simple, when I was only 16 my dear friend (wedding photographer) asked me to help him for one day. My life changed in that moment, photography has been my life for 20 years, my dream, my reality. In 2005 with my partner Luciano Di Lascio we made the photography. We operate mainly in Campania, known throughout the world for its beauty and the creativity of its people. Amalfi, Sorrento, Ravello, Positano, Naples, Paestum are unique places, in my opinion among the most beautiful, I think it's a fortune to photograph weddings in these places. My desire, and that of all our staff, is to photograph the world and to photograph weddings around the world.

My photographic technique has always been reportage. When I started out, all the photographers I've worked with used the 1995-98 (6X6) format, but I've always used 35mm. I already understood the speed, versatility and beauty of the rectangular shape. The horizontal photo makes me different from the fashion and style used at that time.
The Nikon F3 with the 50mm 1.8 was my first SLR. I use natural light and prefer wide angle images; I am discreet, I enjoy the couple and leave the freedom they want without being annoying. I think that only in this way is memory real. I simply follow events, I don't transform them; For sure the perfect shot will always be there, you just need to be ready and attentive.
The photographer has a gift of degree, he can stop time with his hands, I believe there are no other people who have the power to do it
