My name is Andrea Barbieri, I am originally from Como. I believe in photography because it has the power to capture the "here and now", transforming it into an indelible and eternal memory, always ready to be looked at again, faithful to what has been. My photographs want to be nothing more than this: my interpretation of reality that passes in front of me and is transformed into an image. My style is constantly evolving, even if I make reportage a firm and constant point. My focus is always on telling the emotions of those who are at the center of events and showing the reality of the things that surround me. I tell stories with my photographs, and to do so I evolve my techniques and tools to always find new ways.
