About Ana

Hello, I'm Ana and I am a Portuguese documentary photographer born in Lisbon.
My background is architecture but in 2011 I changed my life and switch the ground for the sky becoming a Flight Attendant and leaving my country to travel the world.

Photography was somehow always part of my life, but it was in 2015 after my honeymoon in Namibia that the “click” truly happened.

I started then photographing my travels and the streets I walked through the places I visited.

Big part of the inspiration was coming from what I experienced in the different countries I visited but, it was the human factor and cultural diversity what truly droves me.

Dubai has been home for over nine years and at the moment I commit myself to Documentary Photography full-time. Telling stories of those who give me the opportunity is my mission, photography is my way of expression.

I am very personal, and I truly commit myself with the time I spend while working and with what I deliver to my clients. I believe connection is one of the main roots for creation. It will be a pleasure to be part of your special day documenting it.
